Hydrangea Paniculata ‘Grandiflora’ (Pee Gee) Std

An iconic variety, combining the elegance of large panicle flowers with the height and structure of a tree. This cultivar produces white flowers, which change to a soft pink gradation as they mature, creating a colourful spectacle from late summer through to autumn.

Ideal for adding height and elegance to gardens or smaller spaces. It requires regular watering to maintain good soil moisture, especially during dry periods. A balanced fertiliser applied in spring will encourage generous flowering and support its growth. This cultivar is cold hardy and tolerates harsh winters well, but it is advisable to protect the roots with a layer of mulch to avoid severe frosts.

Pruning should be carried out in early winter or early spring, before the vegetation resumes. Remove spent flowers and prune dead or weak stems to encourage healthy growth and maximise flowering.
