Hemerocallis 'Little Grapette', commonly known as Little Grapette Daylily grows to 18 inches tall, and 24 inches wide. A dwarf purple daylily variety, it has miniature 2” trumpet flowers, with tightly ruffled, piecrust edges, in shades of grape (from pink to black); and a stunning florescent green throat.
A heavy, and early midseason bloomer. Flowers emerge mid-June to mid-July, then rebloom. Deadhead this dwarf purple daylily blooms for best performance. Flowers bloom in the afternoon. Daylilies are very easy to grow with average to low water needs; and can survive the worst of environments. They are rabbit resistant; and salt and Juglone tolerant. Attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Plant Little Grapette Daylily in a swath for a really beautiful mass of flowers.
