Acer palmatum Baby Ghost

Acer palmatum ‘Baby Ghost’ is the smallest of the “Ghost” series of reticulated Japanese maples. ‘Baby Ghost’ first leafs out with an amber color leaf that transitions to red. Leaves then fade to burgundy and ultimately to green which maintains throughout the summer. Fall color is orange-red. ‘Baby Ghost’ has excellent reticulated variegation in early spring, but that mostly fades for the duration of the summer.
