Acer japonicum ‘Aconitifolium’ is a low branched, small garden tree with deeply cut leaves, dark green summer leaves. In fall, the foliage turns a magnificent array of intense colors from brilliant scarlet and shading into purple. Prominent red seeds also contribute to the show.
